Pope Reel product feature

A Pope reel for winding a running paper web into a paper roll on a paper machine. The web is wound on a webwide king roll, which web wraps around the king roll on part of its circumference. A magazine holds a number of winding drums, each of which serves as a winding core.

Specification

Pope Reel is designed on the principal of friction winding of paper.

Primary grab arm is pneumatcially / hydraulically loaded and tilted hydraulically / mechanically with manual operation.

Secondary arm is loaded pnuematically / hydraulically.

Pope reel drum is SS / MS fabricated and designed to withstand required nip pressure and provided with doctoring arrangement.

Framing is heavy duty in MS / SS / CI construction.
